Assembler

• Identify safety hazards, suggest corrective actions, and follow company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assemble units using various tools (hand, power, electric, air‑powered drills, wrenches, grinders, nail/staplegun, paint gun, overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.).
• Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical installations, grinding, and touch‑up painting.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and verify parts against blueprints.
• Test, package, crate, and prepare finished goods for shipment or proper location storage.
• If certified, operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and organize materials.
• Maintain 5S standards and perform related duties to support quality and productivity goals.
• Complete inventory paperwork and computer transactions as needed.
• Adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
• Be mobile to move within the department/plant as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems.
• Proficient in the use of all hand tools, electric, and air power; some skills in wire feed welding and plasma cutting.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and use measuring devices.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
• Valid forklift certification is a plus.
