Production Associate (Cylinder Maintenance)

Location:

Geismar, LA - 35114 E Hwy 30 - Filling industrial.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Loading and unloading high‑pressure and liquid cylinders.
• Visually inspecting and performing general maintenance on cylinder inventory.
• Reviewing and inspecting cylinders before filling per government, company and distributor standards.
• Understanding hazards of gases, sizes and contents; reading cylinder labels and color coding.
• Operating forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse/material‑handling equipment safely.
• Examining returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, and burns.
• Performing minor maintenance on equipment and inspecting cylinders before filling.
• Identifying and separating test cylinders and defective cylinders.
• Removing old labels and cleaning cylinders.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform heavy work routinely lifting 25–75 lbs., occasionally lifting >100 lbs.
• Valid employment authorization in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Good mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and computer‑generated documents.
• Ability to drive a forklift and become certified.

• Prior experience with hand tools.
• Prior forklift experience.
