First shift: 8am start to job completion (varies)
What You Will Be Doing- Review load information for completeness.
- Ensure bundles meet customer quality specifications.
- Safely load bundles onto tractor‑trailers by using the overhead hoist system.
- Secure bundles and install sideboards or tarps as required.
- Complete load checklists thoroughly and accurately.
- Verify bundle weights against load sheets.
- Complete and submit manifests to the shipping clerk.
- Operate yard tractor to spot trailers in the yard and truck wells.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Ability to read scales and interpret weight measurements.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Proficient in safely operating an overhead hoist system.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
