Assembly Lab Technician – Production
Vinton, LA
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Assembly Lab Technician to support production in a controlled lab setting. This role is critical to ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient production while minimizing errors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable following precise procedures and making adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Location:
Vinton, LA Pay: $15.00 – $17.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up materials and equipment for production according to strict guidelines
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure safe, accurate, and effective production
- Utilize manipulator arms during production with a smooth, controlled touch
- Handle small components using suction tools with precision
- Load materials into cables/wires using funnels and specialized equipment
- Monitor production to minimize NCMR (non-conformance) due to errors
- Follow all safety protocols and lab procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized lab environment
- Document production activity and report any issues
Skills and Experience:
- Previous assembly, lab, or production experience required
- High mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Steady hand coordination and ability to work with delicate equipment
- Ability to operate manipulator arms with precision and control
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with accuracy
- Strong reliability, consistency, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid
- Must provide proof of high school diploma
