Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator looking for a hands-on role where your skills make an impact? EMR, a global leader in metal recycling, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Port, Allen depot!
What You’ll Do:- Operate excavators to move and process metal
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support the team with additional duties as needed
- Previous experience with material handling and excavators (a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask
- Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

This role requires PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, high-visibility gear, and ear protection. Expect exposure to dust, fumes, and noise in a fast-paced recycling environment.
