In this role you will report directly to our Maintenance Manager, and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance through verifying daily rounds and performing visual inspections of plant conditions.
- Ensure area maintained to 5-S standards.
- Utilize hazard recognition to ensure life-critical policies are upheld and adhered to.
- Current CWI Certification.
- General knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and related disciplines.
- Ability to perform X-Ray film interpretation.
- Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and managing various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- General knowledge and interpretation of applicable ASME Codes and Standards.
- Experience reviewing welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and WPQ.
- Ability to review and interpret weld maps and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding of and ability to read, interpret, and follow all site operating procedures and piping specifications.
- Adhering to all plant and OSHA safety standards.
- Skills in proper communication with contracting and client personnel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
The hourly pay for this position is $52.00 per hour. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
