Lead Manufacturing Technician

In this role you will report directly to our Maintenance Manager, and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location.

• Ensure compliance through verifying daily rounds and performing visual inspections of plant conditions.
• Ensure area maintained to 5-S standards.
• Utilize hazard recognition to ensure life-critical policies are upheld and adhered to.

• Current CWI Certification.
• General knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and related disciplines.
• Ability to perform X-Ray film interpretation.
• Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and managing various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• General knowledge and interpretation of applicable ASME Codes and Standards.
• Experience reviewing welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and WPQ.
• Ability to review and interpret weld maps and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of and ability to read, interpret, and follow all site operating procedures and piping specifications.
• Adhering to all plant and OSHA safety standards.
• Skills in proper communication with contracting and client personnel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

The hourly pay for this position is $52.00 per hour. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
