Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Check in material, enter system, and proper labelling on materials (ex. Customer, Job, & Location)

* Notify of incorrect material to purchasing

* Operate forklift, trucks, and trailers

* Organize load outs

* Keep all tools, gang boxes, trailers up to date with service and in working order

* Keep shop, materials, and tool rooms organized & clean.

* Coordinate staging of project material and return of unused project material

* Manage paperwork associated with items mentioned above

* Coordinate with purchasing and line managers for pickups and drop offs

* Line up shop drivers for pickups and drop offs

* Self-sufficient, completing duties with minimum supervision

* Good communication skills

* Ability to keep neat and accurate records.

* Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization.

* Ability to work with a team and communicate with other functions.

Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience.

* Previous forklift experience required. Forklift certification is a plus.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision.

* Ability to lift 50lbs.

* Computer proficiency Ex. Word, Excel, & Outlook
