Are you ready to take the supply chain of Mercedes-Benz to the next level? In our team Capacity Management & Demand Planning (MO/SPC) at the Böblingen site, we work at the interface between global production, supplier management, and sales. We are responsible for the global demand and capacity management for all MBC architectures. In doing so, we control and monitor the manufacturability of (special) equipment considering supplier capacities, develop the required processes and systems for this, and have the technical leadership of the virtual, cross-functional organization.
Our work takes place in interdisciplinary teams and takes into account the global market situations.

Your tasks in detail:
- Build the "nerve center" of capacity and demand control:
You drive the establishment of an end-to-end data platform that connects today's isolated tools and creates transparency from sourcing through industrialization to series – so that risks become visible and controllable early - Bring AI from "experiment" to "game changer":
You integrate AI-supported, data-driven approaches to improve forecast quality and decision-making – including planning, simulation, and what-if analyses for capacity planning to bottleneck management - Set the pace for transformation – technologically & organizationally:
You orchestrate the implementation in an agile, end-to-end bundled setup (Agile Release Train/ART) and bring cross-functional teams (department, IT, partner) to a common target image - Shape strategic key decisions:
You work on the crucial questions for the future BKM system landscape (incl. make-or-buy and SaaS approach) – and turn strategy into productive reality - Deliver visible impact in a highly dynamic environment:
Your focus is on more transparency with less effort as well as stable, efficient processes/systems – in an environment where speed and quality count equally
Ideally, you qualify for this job with:
- Completed studies in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, business administration, computer science, or a comparable degree
- Proven experience in implementing AI/digital transformations
- Excellent ability to mediate between department, data, and IT
- Professional experience in program planning, supplier management, sales, or logistics and knowledge of the customer order process, supply chain management, and project management are advantageous
- High intrinsic motivation to fundamentally change things
- Very good German and English skills
- Strategic thinking coupled with implementation strength

- Communication skills and confident appearance
