Production Manager, Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma

Manufacturing Manager (All Genders)
In this position, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary production management team consisting of project managers, process engineering, and senior supervisors for around 120 employees (DL & operators). Through modern leadership, you will ensure the operational execution, output goals, and production flexibility, take responsibility for the highest standards in quality and training compliance, and sustainably increase employee satisfaction on the way to becoming the Philips model factory.
Your job:
- Operational shopfloor management:
Disciplinary leadership of the production management team, responsibility for output figures, shift planning, and production discipline. - Quality & compliance:
Ensuring product conformity according to ISO 13485 and high manufacturing quality. - Skill-management & training:
Building and maintaining a robust training structure, continuously expanding the skill matrix for flexible employee deployment planning, and ensuring training compliance. - Lean manufacturing:
Optimizing manufacturing processes through lean methods and strengthening supervisors as process-responsible leaders. - Budget & cost management:
Responsibility for operational cost centers (direct labor), budget planning, cost control, and consumable material planning.
The following should you bring:
- Technical studies (B. Sc./M. Sc.), ideally in medical technology/industrial engineering
- Several years of experience in leading technical teams/supervisors, also in multi-shift operations
- Experience in maintenance, automation/robotics, production control (OEE, quality)
- Handling of quality management systems (ISO 13485 is advantageous) and process validation
- Lean/project management skills (e.g., Six Sigma, Greenbelt)
- Team leadership, motivation, stakeholder moderation
- Fluent German and English
