Dynamic Component Repair Technician – Grand Prairie, TXJob Description: Your duties will consist of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft dynamic systems.
Responsibilities- Disassemble aircraft components.
- Rework parts for the overhaul process.
- Inspect parts for continued airworthiness.
- Assemble parts for repair or overhaul.
- Complex disassembly of advanced dynamic components.
- Precision rework to meet stringent safety standards.
- Continuous inspection to ensure airworthiness.
- Timely assembly within production deadlines.
- A minimum of four (4) years of mechanical skill experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Onsite presence: 90% of time.
- Vision:
Able to read computer screens, documents, and engineering drawings daily. - Hearing:
Able to hear conversations, phone, and production floor alarms daily. - Speaking:
Able to speak in meetings and conversations daily. - Equipment Operation:
Able to operate office and production tools, including hydraulic lifts, daily. - Carrying:
Able to carry documents, tools, and equipment up to 30 lbs (14 kg) daily. - Lifting:
Able to lift items up to 30 lbs (14 kg) daily. - Pushing/Pulling:
Able to move small office furniture and equipment daily. - Sitting:
Able to sit for long periods during meetings and computer work daily. - Squatting/Kneeling:
Able to use when retrieving items from low shelves. - Standing:
Able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor daily. - Travel:
Able to travel independently on short notice, possible once or twice a year. - Walking:
Able to walk through office and production areas, including uneven surfaces daily. - Personal Protective Equipment:
Must don safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and protective gloves as required.
