Diversified Technologies Inc., the parent company of Sudenga Industries and Dur-A-Lift, is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. We are located just outside of George, Iowa.

Diversified Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to contribute to the production of reliable, precision-built components. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. DTI provides a competitive wage and benefits package.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. This position requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

We are located in George, Iowa — just a short drive from many Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota communities, including Ashton, Boyden, Doon, Hull, Melvin, Ocheyedan, Rock Rapids, Rock Valley, Sheldon, Sibley, Sioux Center, Worthington, Ellsworth, and Adrian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, or other equipment, to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Adjust machine offsets and parameters as needed to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in safe, proper working condition.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow all quality and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control standards.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Dependable.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CNC programming, including G-code, CAM software, or similar tools.
  • Multi‑axis machining experience.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement knowledge.
