Tig Welder​/Fitter

(New Orleans, LA):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Daytime and Nighttime TIG Welder/Fitter for our fabrication shop. This position requires experience in both structural and pipe welding, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Perform TIG welding on structural steel and pipe in a fabrication shop environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately
• Fit and assemble metal components to precise specifications
• Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

• Proven experience with TIG welding on both structural and pipe applications
• Ability to pass weld tests as required
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with fitting and layout work
• Ability to work day or night shifts as needed
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

• Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
