- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.
- Identify and implement improvements in productivity, quality, and safety.
- Support production teams in troubleshooting process or equipment issues.
- Lead or support projects involving new equipment, tooling, and process changes.
- Develop standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process or production engineering.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficient in CAD software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail‑oriented and data‑driven, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Hands‑on, solutions‑focused engineer with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Continuous standing; repetitive motion of hand/wrist.
- Ability to lift up to 33 pounds.
- Intermittent bending, crouching, repetitive motion of elbow/shoulder, and pushing/pulling.
- Exposure to typical manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and in some areas hearing protection may be required.
- The work environment may include a workstation equipped with a computer as required for the job.
- Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.
