Production Support Technician
The Production Support Technician is an effective employee with a strong work ethic. This individual is efficient in the tasks they are doing in their department and must be capable of performing basic manual labor. They will manually move steel, stock, or other materials; perform general labor. Prior forklift and/or warehouse experience is preferred for this position.

- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Move steel or other materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, cranes, or other equipment.
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
- Have no employees reporting to this position.
- Be able to read a tape measure.
- Prior forklift and/or warehouse background preferred.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Report.
- Regular, reliable attendance is required.
- Production Support Technician may be required to work overtime as needed.
Production Support Technician will be required to lift, slide, push, pull, or otherwise manipulate up to fifty pounds by hand.
Any objects or materials over this weight limit will require manipulation by crane, forklift or other device.
