Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for a Mold Maintenance Technician in the Mold Shop. Technicians are responsible for the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of Plastic Injection Tooling with a high level of accuracy. Other tasks include troubleshooting tooling problems, minor repairs, configuration changes, and the replacement of tooling components.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities
  • Keeping production molds in a ready to run state.
  • Receiving information from the previous shift and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Troubleshooting and predicting mechanical and performance issues in our molds.
  • Inspecting and analyzing critical components both old and new for defects.
  • Identify and prioritize planned and unplanned work related to molds, focusing on the highest-priority tasks.
  • Effectively communicate via email, radio, and comments on work orders to coordinate tasks and share critical information.
  • Fabricate new hydraulic shafts and hoses as needed
  • It is essential that this position be performed at the facility.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with reading blue prints and schematics
  • Required to work a 12 hour shift. (days and nights as needed).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to become proficient in operating cranes and forklifts.
  • Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical knowledge a plus.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift 64 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
  • Mold Making or Injection Mold processing experience or training
  • CAD/CAM/CNC experience or training
  • Machining and/or Mechanical experience
  • Experience working with Mills and lathes
  • Previous experience troubleshooting tooling problems and repairs.
  • Minimum of (3) years of hands‑on technical experience with a proven work history.
  • Previous manufacturing, machine shop, injection molding or plastics experience.
