Large Press Brake Helper

Heavy, industrial metal fabrication shop in Mid City New Orleans seeking hydraulic press brake operator helper to help with steel plate forming.

Press helper is responsible for assisting the operator in handling and indexing large steel plates through the machine while it is being pressed. This is a physically demanding job.

Helper will work with the operator as the big press team. Ideal candidate seeks to understand the forming process, seeks to make himself useful to the operator anticipating requests to work seamlessly and efficiently, and seeks to grow and serve the organization’s goals.

We are looking for a reliable teammate wanting a full time career. Ideal candidate will be open to evening overtime work (with little notice) as well as occasional weekend overtime work. We need a learner who is eager to work, who works smart and safely, and who is eager to contribute and earn their spot on the team.

Applicant is required to provide all documents proving legal eligibility to work in the United States. Compensation depends on experience but starts at $15/hr.
