Hutco, Inc. is seeking first-class ship fitters for shipyards located in Harvey, LA. A test will be conducted on-site to assess capabilities.
Lays out and fabricates metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkheads, and frames, and braces them in position within the ship's hull for welding. Minimum 2 years experience as a 1st class ship fitter, outfitting experience, and knowledge of ship terminology are required. You must pass a drug test and physical and be able to work all shifts.
