Job Responsibilities
  • The Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) is responsible for the safe and compliant handling of high-pressure and liquid gas cylinders.
  • Prepares outbound shipments for delivery trucks, adhering to all governmental, Airgas, and distributor standards.
  • Verifying truck inventory, inspecting, and replacing straps on cylinder pallets, and reporting on the daily status of shipments.
  • Coordinates and organizes various gases and cylinder sizes onto pallets to minimize the load size footprint.
  • Sort incoming empty cylinders into their correct size and gas groups.
  • Maintains a safe work environment by understanding the hazards associated with various gases, cylinder sizes, and contents, which requires reading and interpreting cylinder labels and color-coding.
  • Safely operates warehouse/material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Required Qualifications

Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship. Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs. with the aid of a lifting device. Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.

The ability to operate forklift and become forklift certified.

Preferred Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent Prior forklift experience
