Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a
Structural Fitter
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience fitting and assembling structural steel components using blueprints, drawings, and measuring tools. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or fabrication environment.

Essential Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
Lay out, fit, align, and assemble structural steel components.
Measure, mark, and position materials using hand and power tools.
Tack weld components as needed before final welding.
Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment safely.
Inspect fitted assemblies to ensure proper dimensions and alignment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements/

Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of structural fitting experience in a fabrication shop, shipyard, or industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Proficient with measuring tools, layout techniques, and fitting procedures.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces as required.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the workday.
