Ensure the availability and control of spare parts necessary for the repair and maintenance of equipment, to include managing inventory, identifying parts, and ensuring timely delivery to support production and maintenance activities.

Reports to Associate Manager, Manager.

• Participate in & support project work related to spare parts
• Responsible for vendor communication & interactions
• Utilize SAP for managing spare part inventory, movement, receipt & goods issue
• Execute incoming material inspection process
• Execute Lay-up program by performing preventative maintenance tasks on parts in storage
• Pull & stage material as defined for planned maintenance
• Return unused stock to proper stowage & inventory
• Perform routine ABC inventory cycle counting process; report on accuracy & participate in investigations for discrepancies
• Monitor common stock inventory & work with vendor on service procedures
• Participate in optimizing parts storage for ease of retrieval & storage space utilization
• Execute cLEAN principles & follow environmental, health & safety requirements
• Operate forklift, hand-truck & other machinery to safely carry out the movement of materials
• Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Other duties, as assigned

Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Routinely operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands. Ability to be on feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May require corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require colour vision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated heights.

Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials. May be required to wear gloves. Occasionally performs critical job functions in extremely cold work environments. Occasionally positions oneself within confined spaces for inspection, repair & maintenance of equipment. Ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection. Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Able to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks.…
