Role DescriptionThe CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. This position requires strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce quality parts while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate is experienced in CNC machining, understands tooling and machining processes, and can independently troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery, including setup, safe operation, and basic maintenance of CNC equipment.
- Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes for metal components and complex geometries.
- Ability to perform Quality Control checks, including use of precision measurement tools and documentation of inspection results.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions, with solid math and measurement skills.
- Experience with CNC programming or editing G-code is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a foundry, metalworking, or heavy industrial environment is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
