** Your Role at KIK*
* The Lead Press Operator  
** 1st Shift*
* ** 05:00 am - 1:30 pm
- Monday
- Friday with some weekends per business need
** operates high-speed tablet press equipment and owns the production run from setup through completion. This position operates in a chemical manufacturing environment and requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hazardous material handling procedures, and company safety policies.

** This position has a base starting hourly rate of $25.50 per hour.*
* ** What You'll Do*
* + Operate high-speed tablet press equipment for scheduled production runs.

+ Monitor output against specification and act when the process drifts.

+ Coordinate with the Forklift Operator on the handling and distribution of materials for each tableting run.

+ Complete production, quality, material weights, usage data, and inventory documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate appropriately.

+ Follow all safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout, and emergency response.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

+ Assist other Operators as needed.

+ Perform other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor.

** What You'll Bring*
* + High school diploma or GED required.

+ Previous operator experience (Preferred).

+ Manufacturing or production experience (Preferred).

+ Tablet press or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (Preferred).

+ Experience operating pill press equipment (Preferred).

+ Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Preferred).

+

Experience with filling lines or powder processing (Preferred).

+ Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to understand and follow directions, established procedures, work rules, and company standards.

+ Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and respond to call-outs as required to support continuous manufacturing operations.

+ Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment, including a Tyvek suit, for extended periods.

+ Capable of wearing an SCBA or negative-pressure respirator.

+ Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete production records.

+ Strong attention to detail and quality.

+ Ability to work safely around chemicals and manufacturing equipment.

+ Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a functional capacity assessment and drug screening.

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

+ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.

+ Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive motions.

+ Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity levels, and manufacturing environments.

+ Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
