Marketing Director

QLM Search is partnering with a Global B2B Ingredients group with the hire of a Senior Marketing leader (no.1 Marketing position in a business unit) reporting to the Business unit Managing Director. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic/innovative commercial Marketing Director. The role sits on the US divisional leadership team and offers significant influence, visibility, and the opportunity to lead both marketing, strategy and innovation during a critical phase of the business’s evolution.

The Role

As divisional US Head of Marketing (Associate Director-official title), you will hold end-to-end accountability for marketing and innovation across a diverse offering and you will play a central role in shaping US strategy, driving transformation, and delivering profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the US marketing and innovation agenda with clear accountability for growth
• Evaluate and identify new markets, customer segments, and strategic partnerships
• Drive a customer focussed marketing approach
• Develop industry insights into strategic business recommendations and growth plans
• Work closely with Sales, Commercial and Technical teams to strengthen the businesses position
• Manage the GTM and value proposition
• Lead and develop a small high performing team

About You

You will be a senior marketing leader with a strong commercial track record and experience operating in a complex environment. You are likely to bring:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Director or senior marketing leader within B2B ingredients, Food, nutrition (Human/animal)
• A commercial marketing and innovation mindset
• Ideally 10+ years marketing, strategy, product management and innovation through to commercialisation
• Strong influence at US leadership, ExCo, and Group level
• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
