Summary: The New Orleans Pride Center is seeking an exceptional community member to become our first paid staff as our Programs & Administrative Manager. This position is for someone passionate about our local LGBTQ+ community and excited to help the Pride Center grow as an organization. We want to acknowledge that we are an emergent nonprofit, so our pay doesn’t truly reflect what we’re asking for.

We hope to grow this position into a full-time role over time and hire additional staff, but we do not know how long it will take to make those additions. In the meantime, the person stepping into this role will have a lot of support from a dedicated (and talented) board of directors.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, community-oriented, and passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and families. The Programs & Admin Manager serves as a welcoming presence in the Center, running weekly and monthly programs, coordinating the Center’s communications, and ensuring community members are connected to resources and support.

This role requires availability during late afternoon/early evening weekday hours and on Saturdays to align with program delivery and community access needs. Outside of programming commitments, there is significant flexibility with the schedule.
