Grants Manager

Overview

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Grants Manager for a growing nonprofit organization located in New Orleans, LA.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Grants Manager will serve as the organization’s strategic lead on foundation relations and grants portfolio management. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong funder relationships, translating complex organizational initiatives into fundable proposals, and ensuring compliant reporting.

• Competitive salary range: $80,000 – $100,000

• Own and manage the organization’s foundation grant portfolio, including proposal development and reporting
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with foundations and institutional funders
• Translate complex organizational initiatives into compelling, fundable proposals
• Assess and map funder relationships to align resources with strategic priorities
• Ensure timely, compliant reporting and stewardship for all grants
• Contribute to organizational strategy through funding insights and pipeline development

• Demonstrated experience managing foundation relationships and strategic grant portfolios
• Strong skills in proposal writing, budgeting, and reporting for institutional funders
• Ability to communicate complex organizational work clearly to diverse funders
• Self-directed, strategic thinker comfortable operating with some ambiguity
• Collaborative team player with excellent judgment and communication skills

• Flexible work hours with occasional evening funder calls
• Paid parking when onsite
