** What you'll do as a*
* ** Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)****:
*** Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
* Completes resident assessments as required; supervises LPN in data gathering of information
* Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care
* Accurately administers all medications, treatments, and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
* Confers with the Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis with special problems of care, resident transfers, management of workload, etc.
* Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
* Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
* Supervises, assists, consults with and teaches certified nursing assistants
** What you'll need as a*
* ** Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)****:
*** Graduate of a state board-approved school
* ** Currently licensed in Iowa
*** Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
* This is an hourly position, which means you must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
* Exceptional attendance
