• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
• Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
• Plan clinical experiences for and supervise nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
• Make yourself available to staff at the agencies.
• Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on performance based on course objectives.
• Be available for remediation of students as required.
• Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with assistance of agency/clinical personnel.
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.
• Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork and other written work in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
• May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator.
• Inform the course coordinator of all student and agency issues and concerns.
• Work with college administration, staff, and other faculty members to improve the overall operation of the college and student satisfaction rates.
• Participate in the implementation of the College Assessment Program, campus retention efforts, and both departmental and campus policies.
• Serve as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in areas of customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and general professionalism.
• Utilize relationship skills in situations requiring group problem solving, consensus building, and win‑win negotiation.
• Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
• Report to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator will also provide direct oversight.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Two or more years of experience within the last five years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
• Excellent communication skills with high initiative and prudent judgment.
• Professional nurse licensure required in the state of practice.

Pay is between $1,120 and $7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, geographic location, licensure and certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
