- Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery in a busy PACU setting
- Float to pediatric PACU as needed, supporting patients of all ages
- Monitor patient statuses, manage vital signs, and respond to emergencies efficiently
- Support pre-op, phase I, and phase II recovery activities
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia and surgical staff
- Document care in Epic EMR accurately and efficiently
- Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications (current)
- 1+ years of PACU or Pre/Post-Op nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float to pediatric PACU and manage patients of all ages
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
