Nurse Educator, RN Nurse
Job Summary
As a teacher, facilitator, and consultant, you will work collaboratively with nursing and organizational management to implement the company’s educational goals. You will assess needs, plan, organize, implement, and evaluate education and training activities designed to enhance psychomotor, cognitive, and effective learning across all personnel, thereby improving patient care outcomes and management systems.
Education- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred:
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Required:
3 years of nursing experience - Experience working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Experience working in stressful situations while remaining objective and professional
- Required:
Current RN license in your state of practice - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard usage
- Effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to work across organizational lines
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities, managing priorities and projects with multiple constituencies
Job Duties
- Assesses, designs, presents and evaluates educational programs for clinical and non‑clinical staff based on identified needs and competencies
- Actively participates in groups and professional associations
- Functions as a performance consultant
- Coordinates training facilities and other resources
- Other related duties as required
The position involves maintaining knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensuring compliance with all such laws, regulations, and standards.
