Minimum QualificationsPossession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Observe residents for changes in physical, mental and/or behavior status and report significant changes to the Supervisor and Physician.
- Transcribe physicians' orders, carry out physicians' orders, document in residents' medical records, obtain specimens for laboratory testing, and provide residents assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Classified WAE Appointment (not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period)
Compensation:
This position offers $28.00 hourly plus shift differential pay, with rates varying based on shift, day, and holiday schedules.
