Overview
An OBGYN clinic in Iowa is seeking a certified nurse midwife to provide locum tenens coverage with a balanced mix of clinic time and call responsibilities. In this role, you will work three clinic shifts per week—typically Monday through Wednesday—seeing an average of 20 patients per day in a well-equipped office that includes five exam rooms and a dedicated procedure room.
In addition to clinic coverage, you will take approximately seven 24-hour call shifts per month on a rotating schedule. Your scope of practice will include performing colposcopies, IUD placements, Pap smears, and ultrasounds, supporting both routine and follow-up care. This opportunity is a strong fit for CNMs who enjoy continuity of care in the clinic while maintaining an active call component.
