We put the care in healthcare.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety.
• Assist with bathing, showering, shampooing, shaving, combing hair, dressing, and nail care for assigned residents.
• Follow assignment schedule as instructed by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, including toileting and providing incontinent care.
• Provide a supportive, protective, and safe environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current Nurse Aide certification in good standing with the State of Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
