RN Circulator - Elmwood Orthopedic Hospital

Schedule

Monday-Friday; 10 hour and 12 hour shifts available.

No weekends, no call, no holidays required.

• Required:
  
  Registered Nurse Diploma
• Preferred:
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

• Required:
  
  Experience working with and maintaining confidential information. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Preferred:
  Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others.

Basic computer skills.

• Required:
  
  Current RN License in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred:
  Certification in clinical specialty area.

• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Good time management skills and self‑directed.
• Demonstrates good judgment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Delegation skills.

Frequent exertion of 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasional exertion up to 100 pounds. Physical demands exceed those for sedentary work. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases. There may be occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
