RN Clinical Transplant Coord - Kidney Transplant - PRN

This role is knowledgeable and proficient in the pre‑transplant, post‑transplant, and/or inpatient transplant clinical practice. The nurse assists in other sections as needed, acting as a patient advocate and educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self‑care, and rehabilitation. The position is an integral member of the transplant team, assisting the transplant physicians by independently monitoring certain patients, managing outpatient clinics, and periodically reviewing all patients with the physicians.

Care and service are provided to individuals of all age groups.

• Registered Nurse Diploma (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)

• 3 years related experience with RN Diploma or RN Associate Degree
• Two years related experience with a BS Degree in Nursing

• Current RN License in the state of practice (Required)
• BLS (Required)
• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) through ABTC (Preferred)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Must be proficient with Windows‑style applications and keyboard.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Educates nursing staff/colleagues.
• Participates in activities for professional growth.
• Ensures compliance and participates in quality initiatives.
