A. Stassi II Community Care Center will be the first of its kind in the area and will provide care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting.
We are seeking the right candidate for the position of RN Treatment Nurse
. In this vital role, you will ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team to provide exceptional clinical leadership and support.
Primary Job Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients wounds, including history taking and physical examination.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Perform advanced wound care procedures, including debridement and dressing changes.
- Administer IV infusions as required for wound management.
- Process specimen collections for laboratory analysis to monitor healing progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Participate in utilization review processes to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
- Provide support in the training of nursing staff on best practices for wound management.
- As part of the administrative nursing team, participate in the on-call rotation.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license-current/active
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical documentation practices.
- Previous experience in senior care is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
