A leading healthcare organization is actively hiring a Home Health RN in their home health program to join its growing care team serving patients.
Location:
Metairie, Louisiana
Contract Duration: 27 Weeks (Extension possible based on business needs)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekly Guarantee: 40 Hours
Coverage Area:
New Orleans and surrounding area
On-Call/Weekend Requirement:
None
(Mileage reimbursement between patient-to-patient visit: $0.48/Mile)
- Local Pay:$53.00 - $57.00 per hour
- Travel Package:$2,618.46 Weekly
- Lodging: $1,018.46/week
- M&IE: $560.00/week
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Home Health assignment supporting patients throughout the New Orleans area. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with agency standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver skilled nursing care in a home health setting
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and document visits accurately
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams - Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and disease management
- Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Active RN License
- Home Health experience required
- HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and manage travel within coverage territory
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Mileage reimbursement provided between patient visits
