Lead Shift Supervisor II, CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant

We are seeking a Lead Shift Supervisor, CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Shift is:
Saturday/Sunday 8pm - 8am & Thursday/Friday 4pm - 12am

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Provide daily living skills assistance to people with disabilities
• Supervise homes and employees in the department.

• Valid Louisiana Driver's License for 3 year period
• Must possess typing skills/computer knowledge
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• Must greet visitors, employees, and client with professional courtesy at all times

• Administers medications to community home clients in accordance with state CMA rules and regulations
• Records client vital signs on MAR as ordered by the physician.
• Ensures other medical information (such as blood sugar reading, etc.) are recorded as ordered
• Completes all necessary re-certification training in order to retain CMA Certificate
• Reports any medication errors, side effects of medications, or medication refusals to the LCC nurse immediately
• Completes all medication passes as scheduled or requested
