Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide PRN coverage for a skilled nursing facility in Destrehan, Louisiana. The role supports residents by delivering compassionate, hands-on care and assisting with daily living activities. CNAs work flexible day or night shifts to meet the facility's staffing needs.

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other routine observations as required.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and maintaining resident safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Provide respectful care that promotes resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, other CNAs, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Current CNA certification in the State of Louisiana
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing resident needs
• Ability to work independently while remaining an effective member of the care team.

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
