Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, patient‑centered care while maintaining professional accountability. The RN evaluates effectiveness of care by other caregivers, coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary teams, upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and performs all duties in alignment with the employer’s mission, values, and service standards.

Schedule:

Super 36‑hour week, full‑time or variable shifts (6am‑6pm or 6pm‑6am, every other weekend and holiday). Additional locations include Newark Wayne Hospital (postal code 14513), Intermountain Medical Center (Murray, Utah), and other listed facilities.

Pay Range:

• $39.74 – $52.99 per hour
• $38.00 – $62.74 per hour (determined case‑by‑case based on experience, education, and certifications)
• $35.22 – $53.29 per hour (actual hourly rate dependent upon experience)
• $38.00 – $62.74 per hour (base salary range for full‑time applicant)

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (associate’s degree, diploma, or BSN). Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure: Personal responsibility for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure. Registered Nurse license in New York State or other applicable state.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA). Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C‑EFM, NRP, CPHON, OCN, and unit‑specific certifications as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse license in New York State (or relevant state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing, walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Safety and Compliance:

• Complete a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.
• Complete mandatory in‑services and health screens timely.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
