, our Staff Nurses do more than provide clinical care-they build relationships, advocate for residents, support families, and help our teams deliver exceptional care.
Our Inspired Living at Kenner community is looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable LPN who brings clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for serving older adults.
What You'll Do- Assess residents' health needs and help develop and maintain individualized care and service plans.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate clinical interventions are communicated and implemented.
- Provide hands-on nursing care and support with clinical needs as outlined in residents' care plans.
- Communicate closely with the Director of Health & Wellness, care partners, Med Techs, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families.
- Review care plans, physician orders, MARs, and daily reports to support safe, high-quality resident care.
- Provide coaching, clinical support, and training to care team members.
- Support medication management and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical reviews.
- Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and company standards.
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and ongoing education.
- Be a positive clinical leader and role model who promotes teamwork, accountability, and exceptional resident experiences.
- Current LPN/LVN license in good standing as required by the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of nursing or caregiving experience, preferably in assisted living, home health, memory care, or a similar setting.
- At least 6 months of supervisory experience preferred/required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physician orders, and MARs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfortable using technology;
Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred. - A genuine passion for caring for older adults.
- A team-first attitude and the ability to lead with both confidence and compassion.
