Certified Nursing Assistant

This role involves assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, positioning, and bathroom needs, ensuring patient comfort and dignity at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls courteously and assistively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Document patient information accurately, including vital signs, intake and output, and patient weights.
• Provide timely patient education and communicate effectively with peers, nursing staff, physicians, and administration.
• Adapt positively to changes and follow through on issues that may affect patient care using the proper chain of command.
• Ensure availability and proper organization of supplies and equipment.
• Use personal protective equipment correctly and seek guidance from registered nurses when needed.
• Foster clear and consistent communication, holding oneself and others accountable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and values of the organization.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a state-approved CNA training program and certification.

Experience:

Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:
Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, attention to detail, and a caring attitude toward patients. Must be able to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
