Certified Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg Days (CNA)

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Medical-Surgical care during day shifts. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, positioning, and bathroom needs, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls professionally and courteously.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Accurately document patient information including vital signs, intake and output, and weights.
• Deliver timely patient education and communicate effectively with peers, nursing staff, physicians, and administration.
• Adapt positively to changes and follow through on issues that may affect patient care using the proper chain of command.
• Ensure availability and organization of supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Use personal protective equipment correctly and seek guidance from registered nurses as needed.
• Demonstrate skilled communication and accountability in all interactions.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a state-approved CNA training program and certification.

Experience:

Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Requirements:
