Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with cardiac procedure experience for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• Active RN license (LA or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• PACU or Pre/Post Op background preferred

• Care for pre/post-operative patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the PACU unit
• Cardiology and cardiac procedure patient population
• Special procedures include LHC, RHC, TAVR, ablations, TEE, cardioversion, loop recorders, pacemakers, and vascular procedures
• Uses specialized equipment including vein finder and bladder scanner
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, either  or  depending on experience
• Provide perioperative nursing care to cardiac patients
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue or white
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
