About the Role:
As an LPN with Onyx Care of Jena
, you will be responsible for:
Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments
Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any concerns to the healthcare team
Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Louisiana
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in healthcare preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
