At Tchefuncte Animal Hospital, we offer expert pet care for the pets of our community. Located at 216 Louisiana Hwy 21 in Madisonville, Tchefuncte Animal Hospital is proud to serve a range of areas outside of Madisonville, LA.
Our focus is on contemporary medicine and other types of care, including dentistry, surgery, boarding, and grooming.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
