YOUR DAY AS AN AGRONOMY CUSTOMER APPLICATOR - LABORERYour full-time schedule spans Monday through Friday, between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with extended hours and weekends during peak seasons.
As an Agronomy Customer Applicator - Laborer, your day begins with the precision operation of application equipment, ensuring the accurate application of fertilizers and pesticides. You play a crucial role in field preparation, utilizing your skills in tillage and planting. Safety is paramount, and you diligently adhere to protocols, maintaining equipment and records with meticulous care. Your interactions with farmers reflect our commitment to exceptional service, providing recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your ability to calibrate machines, coupled with professional workmanship, sets the standard in the field and beyond.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and accurately
- Ability to operate complex farm machinery and do routine maintenance on the machinery
- Ability to blend fertilizer and follow labels when blending crop protection products
- Ability to read maps, follow directions, and operate equipment with computer-assisted operations
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination to operate farm machinery
- Strong desire to learn our trade
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
