Interpower Corporation is currently seeking a team-oriented individual for an immediate opening within its quality department in Oskaloosa, IA. The primary purpose of the Quality and Product Compliance Specialist is to ensure Interpower products comply with worldwide product safety standards and environmental requirements.

• Ensuring Interpower products comply with product safety requirements through testing, certifications, audits, and inspections.
• Ensuring product and packaging compliance with environmental regulatory material requirements and product material certifications or test data.
• Maintaining product safety agency approval records for new and existing products.
• Leading the Interpower Group of Companies ISO 9001:2015 certification process and taking steps to assure that certification is maintained in the interests of maximizing customer satisfaction while simultaneously maximizing individual and company productivity

• Previous experience or familiarity with electronical / electronic applications
• A general understanding or desire to learn technical electrical product documentation, specifications, test reports, certifications, and other related documents
• Experience leading teams through problems solving or root cause analysis.
• Strong team orientation and the ability to collaborate with those of differing opinions
• Previous experience analyzing and interpretating compliance or regulatory requirements
• Proven organizational and planning skills that result in meeting strict project and production goals

• Previous experience with ISO 9001:2015
• Knowledge or experience with RoHS, international regulations for toxic and hazardous chemicals or materials, or material identification processes.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with safety agencies such as UL, CSA, or VDE
