Site Quality Control Inspector

Overview

The Five-S Group is looking to add a Site Quality Control Inspector to our team. This role works with the Quality Control Team, Materials Manager, Superintendents, and Operations on each project to ensure that construction materials and earthwork activities meet project plans and specifications. The inspector also collaborates with third-party testing laboratories to ensure proper sampling methods and testing procedures are followed.

This is a full-time position that requires physical material sampling, quick decision making, detailed documentation, and effective communication, with travel to different project locations.

• Collaborate with the Quality Control Team, Materials Manager, Superintendents, and Operations on each project to verify materials and earthwork meet project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories to ensure proper sampling methods and testing procedures are followed.
• Perform field sampling of materials, document results, and communicate findings to the project team.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for quality control activities.

• Ability to perform physical material sampling and travel to various project locations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation.
