.
The Fellow will be expected to:
- Develop and refine novel mass spectrometry methodologies for proteomics and protein/peptide characterization.
- Investigate the role of extracellular vesicles as biomarkers in disease onset and progression.
- Apply these approaches to animal models of human disease and clinical samples to assess diagnostic and prognostic value.
- Engage in collaborative research with faculty and trainees across biology, chemistry, and bioinformatics.
This position provides access to state-of-the-art mass spectrometer instrumentation
, a highly collaborative research environment, and opportunities to publish in leading scientific journals. The appointment is ideally suited for candidates seeking to advance their expertise in translational proteomics and biomarker science while contributing to the development of non-invasive approaches for early disease detection and prognosis
.
