Our faculty members across the state are actively engaged in research that creates solutions for the many aspects of agriculture while serving all residents of Louisiana.

Job Duties:

As a Research Farm Assistant 1, you will:

• Maintains grounds and other places around the Northeast, Macon Ridge, and Sweet Potato Research Stations. Uses mowers and other farm implements. (90%)
• Other duties as assigned. (10%)

• Appointment Type:
  This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
• Work Schedule:
  
  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some nights and weekends may be needed.
• Compensation:
  The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
• Location:
  
  Northeast Research Station, St. Joseph, La;
  Macon Ridge Research Station, Winnsboro, La
• This position is not eligible for remote employment.
